Years gone by!
Biography
I started learning music at school, playing classical instruments before finding the guitar in my teens after ‘discovering’ rock and indie music. I went on to spend my late teens to my mid-30s in bands, writing and performing original music. I toured the UK and Europe with these bands, primarily as a lead guitarist; during that time touring I supported bands and artists such as Kasabian, Pete Doherty, The Subways, The Wombats, and many more. Other highlights from that time include: being featured/performing on Channel 4 TV, having music used in TV programmes on C4 and C5, live radio performances, and having music played on various radio stations (BBC Introducing, XFM, local radio, online stations).
Now I’m too old to be a rockstar ;) I perform as a solo acoustic performer, and as a guitarist, bassist, and singer in various musical projects, functions/cover bands, and tribute acts. I still write and record my own music, I just rarely subject my friends and family to that now!

Solo Acoustic Entertainer
As a solo acoustic entertainer, I perform at pubs, small venues, corporate functions, and weddings. I have a repertoire of about 200 songs that tends to lean mostly into 70s and 80s, but also some 60s, 90s, and a few modern classics. I try to create sets that feature well-known singalong tunes, but I’ll look to avoid playing too many songs that punters have heard over and over.

I am available as a singer, guitarist, and bassist. I currently play in various cover/functions bands in different roles. I’m always looking for functions/cover work with other bands, in either a dep or permanent role as the bands I’m currently with don’t keep me busy enough at the moment!
